He carves a boy and names him "Pinocchio". Once the puppet is finished and Geppetto teaches him to walk, Pinocchio runs out the door and into the town, where he is caught by a Carabiniere, who assumes Pinocchio has been mistreated and imprisons Geppetto.The Adventures of Pinocchio incorporates elements similar to that of fairy tales, as it is a story about an animated puppet.
